1. Introduction

YT Auto ("we", "our", "us") operates the video automation platform at ytauto.scoutmytool.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

  • Account Information: Email address, name, and password (hashed) when you register.
  • YouTube Channel Data: When you connect your YouTube channel via Google OAuth, we access your channel name, channel ID, and upload permissions. We store encrypted OAuth tokens to manage uploads on your behalf.
  • API Keys: Third-party API keys you provide (e.g., ElevenLabs, Pexels, OpenAI) are stored encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption.
  • Video Content: Scripts, metadata, and media files generated during video creation.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and publish videos to your YouTube channels as you direct.
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
  • To store your preferences and automation settings.
  • We do not sell, share, or distribute your data to third parties.

4. Google API Services - Limited Use Disclosure

YT Auto's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request access to YouTube scopes necessary for uploading and managing your videos.
  • We do not use Google data for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service.
  • OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are only used to interact with YouTube on your behalf.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • All sensitive data (API keys, OAuth tokens) is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12.
  • Our servers are hosted on secure infrastructure with restricted access.
  • We use HTTPS for all communications.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time, which removes the stored OAuth tokens. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data stored in our system.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Revoke YouTube access at any time via your Google Account settings.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.

8. Contact
